Edible Sunflower Seeds. A variety yielding exceptionally tasty seeds that are rich in omega-6 fatty acids and unsaturated fats. This garden sunflower variety can reach a height of up to 3 meters. The flowers are arranged in heads, forming an inflorescence with a diameter of 23–30 cm. The fruit is an achene featuring a leathery pericarp that does not fuse with the single seed. Sunflowers prefer a sunny location. They thrive in all soil types. An easy-to-grow plant.
